About us

Psalm 91 Providence House is a growing, faith-based nonprofit outreach ministry devoted to restoring lives, strengthening families, and building community through faith, practical learning, meaningful relationships, and service.

Since 2024, much of our work has taken place behind the scenes. What began with a willingness to open our home and serve the people God placed before us has continued to grow through discipleship, fellowship, providing food, clothing, personal encouragement, community service, and simply walking alongside people through real life.

We believe ministry does not begin with a building. It begins with people.

Our beginning may be humble, but our vision is not. We believe meaningful ministry can begin with what God has already placed in our hands, home, time, experiences, and our willingness to serve. From that foundation, we are cultivating a place where people can encounter Jesus, discover purpose, develop practical skills, build healthy relationships, and experience the dignity that comes from knowing their lives have value.

Where It Began

In the early days of the ministry, our founder felt called to step outside the familiar and begin serving people experiencing homelessness in surrounding communities. Backpacks were prepared with hygiene products and everyday necessities, and what began as a simple act of obedience led her into neighborhoods, beneath bridges, and into places where she began meeting people, hearing their stories, and seeing beyond their circumstances.

“It was never simply about handing someone a backpack, a meal, or a bottle of water,” says our founder. “It was about seeing the person receiving it. It was about reminding someone who felt forgotten that they still mattered, that their life had value, and that their circumstances did not have to determine the rest of their story.”

Those experiences became an important part of the foundation of Psalm 91 Providence House. They taught us that meaningful outreach begins by meeting people where they are, taking the time to listen, and recognizing the dignity and value of every life.

This heart for reaching the last, the least, and the lost continues to guide our work. Our founder and mission teams continue serving throughout the community, including neighborhoods, nursing homes, and places where people are too often overlooked.

Our story is still being written, but our commitment remains the same. We believe people matter, and no one should be defined solely by the hardest chapter of their life. And we believe that when people are met with compassion, dignity, opportunity, and hope, lives can change.
